ADMS 4 Industrial Air Pollution Model

MODEL DEVELOPMENT AND VERIFICATION

The ADMS 4 model was developed by CERC, with some of the model options written in collaboration with other research organisations, such as the UK Meteorological Office, University of Surrey, and National Power (now Innogy).

The model has been comprehensively verified. A number of verification papers are available for download from the Documentation page of the CERC website. In addition, a full Technical Specification of the model is available (also downloadable from the Documentation page).

USER SUPPORT

ADMS 4 is supplied with a comprehensive User Guide that includes chapters describing how to set up both basic and advanced modelling scenarios, details of the available output utilities, some worked examples a technical summary, and useful appendices. This manual can be downloaded from the Documentation page of our website.

An annual maintenance contract provides support for users; this includes

  • maintenance model upgrades,
  • an invitation to the annual User Group Meeting,
  • newsletter twice a year,
  • use of the 'Helpdesk' by email, phone, fax or post, and
  • access to the password-protected User Area.

2-day ADMS 4 training courses are also available.
