Forecasting

CERC has extensive experience of providing forecasting services for air quality, pollen levels, temperature and UV, and wind energy.

Forecasts can be supplied through a web API, or on a website, allowing the data to be displayed graphically, for example superimposed on map data. Alerts can be issued to the public via SMS/text message, voicemail, e-mail and mobile phone apps.

CERC works closely with each client to develop a bespoke forecasting system. During the development phase, the underlying model and the system as a whole are carefully tested and evaluated. Once the system is operational, CERC continues to provide support, including system monitoring, system updates, and regular updates to the client.
